Overview
CyrusOne is a global colocation company headquartered in Dallas, TX. They have 35 data center facilities throughout the United States, Europe and Asia and are continually growing. In efforts to drive down operational costs for customers, CyrusOne delivers their Massively Modular concept, which brings power/space to the market quickly in large facilities. In addition, the company offers solutions with various levels of redundancy (N/N+1/2N). The company’s strong customer relationships with Fortune 1000 data center users made them an attractive acquisition for Cincinnati Bell in 2010 for $525M. CyrusOne went public in Q1 2013. In Q1 2016, CyrusOne purchased 2905 Diehl Road, the former CME Group Data Center for $130M. CyrusOne is currently under construction to deliver additional commissioned data center space to the building. The Texas based provider also has access to additional land directly next to the facility, where it plans to build its next Chicago facility.
