Founded in 2010 under the name Cequel Data Centers, TierPoint, LLC, is a data center provider that focuses on delivering cloud, managed services, colocation, and disaster recovery solutions to a variety of customers. TierPoint operates data center facilities in excess of 20 markets and 5,000 clients, consistently increasing their footprint through acquisitions and rapid growth. In Q3 2013, Cequel Data Centers’ properties and operations were rebranded with the TierPoint name and logo. The company has performed a vast variety of acquisitions throughout its history, including: Colo4, Perimeter Technology Center, Adhost Internet Advertising, Baltimore Technology Park, Philadelphia Technology Park, Xand, CxP Data Centers, Altered Scale, Windstream Hosted Solutions, and Cosentry in Q1 2016. TierPoint is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
