Iron Mountain WPA-1 is a highly secure, ultra-efficient underground data center located less than an hour north of Pittsburgh. Situated 220 feet underground in a former limestone mine, this 330,000 ft² facility offers 15.5 MW of power and is designed for disaster recovery, colocation, and cloud interconnection. The site harnesses a natural underground aquifer for geothermal cooling, optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability.
