Hut 8’s Vancouver Vault Data Centre (VAN 1-IWC) is designed to Uptime Institute Tier I standards and is located in a highly secure former Bank of Canada vault in Downtown Vancouver. The facility features 28” steel-reinforced walls, 1-meter thick ceilings, and 2-meter thick floors for extreme physical security. It offers N+1 redundancy in power, cooling, and connectivity, with the majority of supplied power being hydroelectric renewable energy.
